Hyperledger

Hyperledger is an open-source community-driven open-source blockchain

technology. It provides a suite of stable frameworks, tools and libraries for

enterprise-grade blockchain deployments for real-life use cases.

Hyperledger is supported by hundreds of software companies, finan-

cial institutions and blockchain consulting providers. Some of the premier

members are

• JP Morgan

• IBM

• Accenture

• Consensys

• DTCC

• Fujitsu

• Hitachi

Hyperledger has been continuously evolving and is under the umbrella of

The Linux Foundation (https://www.linuxfoundation.org/projects). There

are various projects that are actively being developed or have been already

implemented for multiple real-life use cases. The following is a list of all

Consensys Quorum

JP Morgan Chase (JPMC) initiated the Quorum project to enable Ethereum

products to enterprise grade and make them usable for financial services.

JPMC took the open-source codebase of Ethereum and made efforts to

make it enterprise-grade for financial services. On 25 August 2020, JPMC

sold it to Consensys.

JPMC launched Quorum in 2016. JPMC and Consensys have collabo-

rated to make Ethereum a platform so that enterprises can utilise it to build

a secure, scalable and customisable business network.
